Williams Arena Parking

The Gophers taking on Michigan State
Williams Arena is located at 1925 Southeast University Avenue in Minneapolis. Just across the street from Mariucci Arena, there are several different parking options available to attend games. Options include street parking, paid lots, and ramp parking. The ramps include 4th Street Ramp, Washington Avenue Ramp, and University Ramp that are all around the arena. Also, parking on Oak or Washington Street is a good option if you aren't trying to drive into the ramp. Paid lots are also close to the arena, with some being anywhere from $8 to $15. Overall, the parking is fairly easy to find for fans and the several options allow easy exits to and from the game.

Golden Gopher banquet awards

With the end of the basketball season for the Golden Gophers, the team held their annual banquet at the TCF Bank Stadium this past Sunday. Gopher senior Brittany McCoy was awarded the Golden Gophers’ MVP award and earned honorable mention by both the Big Ten Conference coaches and the media. Brittany McCoy has left her mark on the Golden Gopher team by starting every 127 games of her college basketball career and is ranked second in the Big Ten Conference in assists over the past season as well. Congrats McCoy!

Williams Arena Schedule looks very quiet

With the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers regular basketball season all wrapped up, the Williams Arena Schedule is going to be VERY quiet for the rest of the school year. During the summer Williams Arena is used for Gopher Basketball Camps and Summer Practices, but for the next few weeks Williams Arena is going to be pretty low-key.

Check back later on for Williams Arena Schedule Updates and hints on Gopher Basketball Tickets for next season!

Gopher Basketball Player dribbling the ballCongratulations to the Minnesota Golden Gophers who made it to the NCAA Tournament! I wish the first round game was at Williams Arena, so that I could go (I know the NCAA Tournament does not work that way, but I LOVE basketball games at Williams Arena!)
