Tubby Tip-Off Event Was Awesome

Tubby SmithThe Tubby Tip-Off Event took place last Friday night on October 15th. There was a scrimmage, dunk contest, and 3 point contest for all the fans to watch. This team clearly has a lot of potential and could definitely threaten for the Big Ten title. I can't wait to start visiting Williams Arena and seeing the Minnesota Gopher basketball team on the court. Trevor Mbakwe looked impressive, as did many of the newcomers. I believe in Tubby Smith and think he can get Minnesota to the elite status in the Big Ten. Can't wait for the season!
